Last friday, Sarah and I had planned to make a trip up to JB so that we could put the last few days of her leave to good use. I was so excited for the trip because everyone seemed to have already checked out the cafes in JB and all raved about how picturesque and cheap they were... 

AND i was so in need of a massage and getting a massage in Singapore is sooo expensive hahaha.

Turns out, we realised that sarah had forgotten her passport when we were all the way at the bus station getting tickets. Thank God we found out then, else it would be disastrous if we had gone all the way to the customs HAHA.

With that, I accepted that I'm not fated to visit JB anytime soon with her.. so since we had a whole day blocked out for that day, we decided to explore a few cafes we've always wanted to go, including The Stamping Ground Coffee Cafe

The Stamping Ground is a really small cafe tucked in Siglap, where half of the space is taken up by a floral shop, the other half the cafe. The decor is pretty simple and open, a very homely and comfy area to chill and catch up with friends over some coffee.

Unfortunately they didn't serve that many hot food, the only meal selections available were sandwiches and toasts. Prices were also pretty steep at $14SGD per portion.

Tell me, who else makes floral dresses better than The Closet Lover??? Every single piece on their site are more often than not, dreamy and ethereal. I love how this piece is super girly, with a bit of flare and spring with every step I take.

Having a romper as a midi dress is such a brilliant idea because you can now be comfortable, look girly and pretty but still feel at ease when you move!
