Tuck Shop Cafe, Perth | Review

Brunchin' is a must when you're in Perth because there are so many good cafes around.
On the 2nd day, we visited Tuck Shop Cafe for our daily dose of good food + coffee. Judging from how I initially wanted to incorporate this review into a lengthy post combined with my travel bits but later decided to make this a standalone post, you should know how much I LOVE this place.

This was probably the place and day I had the best brunch of my life - The Bruschetta was to-die-for!

Here's the spread the 3 of us ordered (all 3 girls)
Bruschetta with Grilled bacon, cheddar cheese, tomato, avocado and basil salad - $18
This was the dish that literally wow-ed me. It's just plain ol' bruschetta, how well can a cafe do with the same old tomatoes, avocado.. bacon?
Well first thing first, the ingredients used were soooo fresh. Just look at the tomatoes and leaves on the plate. Note that no retouching was done at all so that I can show you guys how beautiful and fresh it looked.

The dish originally came with Goat's Curd, but the lady very kindly let me change it to Cheddar instead at no cost. If you're not a fan of goat's curd or anything goat's cheese, you can change it up to your favourite cheese!

Tuck Shop Cafe is also very famous for their  Chorizo with paprika potatoes, peppers, spanish onions and crispy pork belly, fried egg- $18.50
Sarie ordered this, but I couldnt resist having a few mouthfuls after smelling it. The pork belly was crackled soooo beautifully. Really crispy and crunchy, but yet not too oily.
If only we had time to go back for more. But this is pretty good as well!

Lastly, bay ordered a very hearty baked beans meal.
Baked Beans with Smoked ham hock, parmesan toast, onion rings and poached egg - $19.50
I would say this has gotta be my least favourite because it got kinda gelat after awhile. But it could also be because we ate too slowly and it got cold afterwards.
But if you're a baked beans fan, you'll love this because the baked beans "stew" was so creamy and fragrant. It was nice that they put in some onion rings at the side to balance the tangy-ness from the baked beans ketchup as well.
This is a must try guys, now we all know why it is so highly raved about.
Coffee was good, service was seamless and amazing, we had such a good time stuffing ourselves silly here.
