Now here's a short and simple recipe to one of my favourite things to have for breakfast : Traditional Rolled Overnight Oats
Traditional Rolled Overnight Oats
For this recipe, you will need :
- A canister that can be refrigerated
- Traditional Organic Rolled Oats
- Vita Coco Coconut Water
- Any cut fruits/ nuts / garnish of your choice
- Honey (optional)
For a light and yummy version of the traditional rolled oats, I like to substitute fresh milk with coconut water. Not only is it lower in calories, it is also a guilt-free sweeter version.
Step 1: Pour in rolled oats
Step 2: Add in a desired amount of Vita Coco Coconut Water
For a more liquid consistency, add more!
Step 3: Keep the lid on
Step 4: Refrigerate overnight!
And your overnight yummy, hearty and easy traditional rolled oats is ready to be eaten the next morning!
Simply cut up your favourite fruits / nuts and throw it in there. I like to pop in some banana, strawberries and frozen blueberries. Drizzle some honey for extra sweetness and flavour, but of course, this step is optional.
This recipe is so simple, I feel kinda embarrassed that I shared it (LOL) !
