Mongabong x Sophialuv
Tuesday, April 21, 2015With great passion for fashion, Sophialuv was conceptualised in year 2012, starting with a retail store named Sophia at Bugis+. A second outlet opened at the Bedok Mall in year 2013.
Sophia hopes to dress ladies in the latest styles with simple, yet elegant clothing. Boasting the best workmanship and comfort for its in-house designs, Sophia offers luxury clothing at affordable prices!
I headed down to one of Sophialuv's physical retail store one day and picked out 3 of my favourite items off their shelves, and here's how I styled them!
This piece is effortlessly classy, a body con with mesh details and a little peek-a-boo on the shoulders? A thousand "yes please!"
I like how there are so many variations to a little black dress.. I think i've collected over 80 little black dresses in my wardrobe because they are THAT versatile and timeless.
The next bodycon dress is something a little more conservative, and lady-like. It reminded me of a modern cheongsam that is so chic at the same time.
Wear it for work, presentations or even to a dinner!
I paired it over some simple gold accessories like my rose gold watch, and a small black clutch with gold accents. Some pearl earrings for that extra glam wouldnt hurt too.
Lastly, I wanted something different from my usual girly style, so I chose this Ponies printed casual dress!
I mean look at it... they are ponies printed all over! I remember putting this on in the fitting room at Sophialuv's outlet and leaving in this because it was so comfy and I really liked how I can style it laidback or glam it up.
That day, I left the shop in this dress, wearing a black leather bagpack and black leather plimsolls. A pity I didn't take any photos for you guys but I'm hoping visualising isn't too difficult. haha
So for the shoot with Evan, I decided to glam it up with some heels and a floppy hat to complement the trends this season!
